Health in Wealth: Illusion of separation and reform
Nowadays in mainstream spirituality, there’s still a lot of misconceptions to be broken down and here’s one of them:
“Money is bad for your Spirituality”
…while this can’t be further from the truth, many people are confused, as to what they should be doing, and this confusion comes out of inability to properly integrate these two aspects of reality, that seem conflicted rather than complementary. (You do realize you might have an agenda in regards to spiritual advancement?) And whenever we do that , we swing from one part of the scale into another, through the infamous illusion of separation.
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! you clean the outside of the cup and the plate, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. You blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and the plate, that the outside also may be clean.” Matthew 23:25
And YES, indeed they are complementary, and it’s in fact the Spiritual corruption that is bad for your money…and health..and pretty much anything that happens in your life.
In the same that way our consciousness inhabits our sacred animal (: the noun from Latin animal, based on Latin animalis ‘having breath’ from anima ‘soul’) and allows us to have this exciting experience of evolution through the course of our incarnation. Money is one of material currencies that enables us to care for our bodies and needs of people around us.
Now, I believe that sometimes, it’s very important to flip the picture in order to see it for what it truly is.
Understandably, as a part of a human nature that resists the course of evolution, it is much easier to dismiss something as irrelevant, malicious or whatever else — to eliminate the external “threat” or better said “temptation”, then to actually evolve, develop and cultivate our character, expand our understanding and get out act together.
As a result, most people would rather disassociate wealth from spirituality, just as they disassociate from their body as “impure”. But it takes only to flip the picture and there it is — understanding that it is the spiritual impurities and wounds that cause people to be excessive in how they manage their resources.
Shocker, right?
It doesn’t matter if you are money motivated or not, it only matters what stands at the back — because you can be money motivated for a vast number of reasons and motives. You can have either most corrupted, fear based intention or even the most noble one intentions rooted in love.
The only difference: is your spiritual, mental and emotional health and level of awareness.
Any tools are either useful or useless (in this case creative or destructive) as the person in charge of how they’re being managed.
I believe THAT is the power of generations to come. Integrating our Higher awareness into how we manage our resources, healing and distributing resources from a healed place. Let’s own up to the fact that we do have a choice, on how we act with what we have, shall we?
And I assure you that, just because some people with money and power didn’t purpose it for the good, doesn’t mean we won’t. We can and we will learn to purpose it in the right way, with the right intention and into right causes — otherwise we will simply inherit their issues and make them our own, and that’s hardly the point, is it?
This will be the course of our personal and economic evolution.
Only integrating Higher Awareness with the ways we govern our resources, will bring solid reform. Dismissing something is the easiest part..much easier than facing our own insecurities and shortcomings. But we have to trust ourselves and our intuition to do what is right…and so we are in the process of learning.
To stand in our integrity.
To hold onto our human values.
To listen to our intuition when it comes to our investments.
We will not be bullies.
We will not be power motivated.
And WE WILL create great things for generations to come!
Because we do know better!! We know better because we turn to our hearts for wisdom!
